 | Scale Garden DesignStudents will create a design to scale for the community garden service learning project. The can had draw or use a computer aided drawing program to create a design for the community garden. Designs will be required to include dimensions and volume of planter boxes, the plants they have chosen to use and a rational for their choice. This may include nutritional information, community need, or biological diversity reasons. The best design will be chosen and used to guide the garden project for the service learning portion of the unit. Top designs will also be posed on the website created to promote the community garden.  |
